This Privacy Policy explains how Keg Ledger handles personal information when you use the Keg Ledger website or mobile app.
Keg Ledger is a team fund app for amateur sporting teams. The app is designed around shared visibility inside a team, so some information you enter in the app may be visible to your team admin and other members of your team.
Information we collect
When you create an account or use Keg Ledger, we may collect personal information such as:
- your email address
- your name or display name
- team membership details, such as the team you create or join
- information you provide when you contact Keg Ledger for support
Keg Ledger also stores information entered into the app so the team fund can work. This includes team fund activity, member activity, approvals and related team records. This policy does not list every type of app activity record, but these records may be linked to your account or team membership.
We may also collect basic technical information needed to operate, protect and improve the website or app, such as device, app, browser, log or usage information.
How we use information
We use information to:
- create and manage user accounts
- let users create, join and participate in teams
- operate the team fund features of the app
- show relevant team fund information to team members and admins
- let admins review and approve team activity where required
- provide support and respond to enquiries
- maintain, protect and improve Keg Ledger
- comply with legal obligations
Keg Ledger records team fund activity, but it does not process payments or move money between users. Teams handle actual payments outside Keg Ledger.
What your team can see
Keg Ledger is built for shared team visibility. If you join a team, your team admin and other team members may be able to see information connected with your team activity, your member profile, your team fund status and records that affect the shared team fund.
Do not enter information into Keg Ledger that you do not want your team admin or teammates to see.
Sharing information with others
We do not sell personal information.
We may disclose information:
- to service providers that help operate the website, app, hosting, support, analytics, security or related services
- to app platforms, such as Apple App Store and Google Play, where required for app distribution and operation
- to your team admin and team members as part of the app's shared team fund features
- if required or authorised by law
- where needed to protect Keg Ledger, users or the public
Some service providers may store or process information outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to use providers that handle information appropriately.
Analytics, ads and third-party services
Keg Ledger may use third-party services to help operate, measure, protect or improve the website and app. These services may collect technical or usage information according to their own privacy practices.
If ads are used in the app, advertising partners may collect or receive information needed to show, limit, measure or improve ads. We aim to use advertising in a way that does not get in the way of the app experience.
Keeping information secure
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
No online service can guarantee perfect security. You should keep your login details secure and choose a strong password.
How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to operate Keg Ledger, provide support, maintain team fund records, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations and protect the service.
Some team records may need to remain available to the team even if an individual account is deleted, because those records affect the shared team fund history.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can update some account and profile information in the app.
If you need access to personal information Keg Ledger holds about you, or you believe information should be corrected, contact Keg Ledger using the support or contact details provided in the app or app store listing.
Deleting your account
To delete your account:
- Log into Keg Ledger with your email and password.
- Use the menu to leave any teams you belong to.
- Once you no longer belong to any teams, you will be shown the no-teams screen.
- Select the "Delete me from Keg Ledger" option at the bottom of the screen.
You may not be able to leave a team while your account still has an outstanding team fund balance. Some team fund records may remain in the team history after account deletion if they are needed to preserve accurate team records.
Children
Keg Ledger is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
If you believe a child under 18 has provided personal information to Keg Ledger, contact us using the support or contact details provided in the app or app store listing and we will take reasonable steps to remove that information.
Complaints and questions
If you have questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy or how Keg Ledger handles personal information, contact Keg Ledger using the support or contact details provided in the app or app store listing.
We will aim to respond within a reasonable time.
Changes to this policy
Keg Ledger may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
